Real Asset Fund Manager

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within the Real Assets Fund of Funds team at Delta Executive Search. The role involves overseeing fund investment activities, analyzing and selecting real asset funds, and managing relationships with external fund managers. Key responsibilities include providing strategic insights into fund selection, performance monitoring, and contributing to the overall real asset investment strategy within the fund's portfolio.

Requirements:
  • Real Assets Focus:
    • Strong expertise in one or more of the following areas within the real assets universe: infrastructure, natural resources, and real estate.
    • A minimum of 10+ years experience required.
  • Investment Analysis & Fund Selection:
    • Proficiency in conducting due diligence, analyzing investment opportunities, and selecting funds across real asset sectors.
    • Ability to evaluate both credit and equity proposals, understanding their impacts on a diversified real assets portfolio.
  • Portfolio Management & Strategy:
    • Track record in managing or contributing to diversified real asset portfolios, with skills in performance monitoring, risk assessment, and portfolio rebalancing.
    • Insightful understanding of macroeconomic and sector-specific trends impacting real assets.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external fund managers and other stakeholders within the real assets space.
    • Skilled in gathering market insights, staying up-to-date with industry developments, and leveraging networks to identify new opportunities.
  • Reporting & Communication:
    • Experience in generating performance reports and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
    • Strong communication skills for articulating portfolio performance insights and making strategic recommendations.
  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, with a preference for candidates holding an MBA or CFA designation.
