Job Summary

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for assisting the Sales Manager in securing new contracts with large clients. This will involve working closely with the Designers to produce specifications and proposals that meet the clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their key drivers and vision for a project.
    • Work with the Designers to put the client's vision into reality.
  • Proposal Development
    • Survey project sites to gather information and measurements.
    • Develop proposals that meet the client's needs and ensure accurate project handover to procurement and operational teams.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Ensure clear communication with clients throughout the opportunity process.
    • Keep the CRM system up-to-date and forecast accurate.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience
    • Proven experience working in a sales and pre-contracts role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent people skills and ability to work with others to achieve business goals.
    • Ability to read architectural drawings and floorplans, with a practical knowledge of construction.
    • Strategic thinking and commercial acumen.
    • Excellent IT skills, including CRM Systems and Microsoft Office.
