**Temporary Payroll Leadership Role**
Portfolio Payroll is seeking a seasoned Payroll Team Leader / Supervisor to assist the Payroll Manager during a peak period. This position offers flexible working arrangements with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
You will join a team of 10 Payroll Administrators, overseeing their daily tasks, reviewing payrolls, advising on intricate issues, collaborating with the Payroll Manager on projects, and possibly processing payrolls as needed.
This engaging role combines leadership, technical payroll expertise, and participation in initiatives like system implementations.
Main responsibilities include:
- Directing and mentoring Payroll Administrators to ensure efficient and accurate payroll processing
- Examining payrolls for mistakes and discrepancies
- Offering guidance and support to team members on complex payroll matters
- Communicating with the Payroll Manager to prioritize tasks and guarantee project success
The ideal candidate will possess payroll management experience, exceptional communication skills, and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment. The estimated hourly wage for this position is £18.00, reflecting local market rates and industry standards.
