We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate NICU Nurse to join our team at Kings College NHS Trust.
About the RoleAs a NICU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to newborns and their families, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely communication of patient information.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Registered Nurse with current registration with the NMC.
- At least 2 years post-graduate experience in a paediatric or neonatal setting.
- Recent experience in NICU or a similar setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
