Job Title: Private Equity Funds Director

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Private Equity Funds Director to lead our Jersey Private Markets operations, accounting and reporting function for our growing private markets clients based in Jersey, Channel Islands.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client deliverables, coordinating with internal departments in multiple jurisdictions, and ensuring deadlines are met. They will also oversee the maintenance of client general ledgers and other records, review and prepare NAV calculations, audited and unaudited financial statements, partner capital statements, management fee calculations, drawdowns, distributions, and underlying work papers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships and ensure timely delivery of client services.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of client services.
  • Oversee the maintenance of client records and ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Review and prepare financial statements and other reports as required.
  • Act as a daily point of contact for clients and ensure prompt and professional communication.
  • Implement new processes and technology to support business growth and improve efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Risk & Controls, Legal, Implementations, and Sales.

Your Experience

  • Proven experience in private markets, net asset value calculations, and capital activities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in fund administration and private markets is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop creative solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively respond to client needs.
  • Accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, CA or similar) with 10+ years of post-qualification experience.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP/UK GAAP and IFRS.
