The Role

As a Data Engineer on our Portfolio Data Integration team, you will play a critical role in expanding and improving our data platform. You will execute the development of new data integrations and maintenance of existing processes to ensure seamless data ingestion and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement efficient data pipelines to support the ingestion, analysis, and enrichment of financial data.
  • Collaborate with business data analysts to build pipelines that meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain process controls and metrics to ensure data quality and accuracy.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to design, test, and implement new processes and tooling features.
  • Identify areas of automation opportunities and implement improvements.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of professional data engineering/analysis experience.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming (PySpark/Python).
  • Knowledge of SQL or relational database concepts.
  • Experience in data modelling, visualisation, and ETL pipelines.
  • Knowledge of financial concepts is a plus.
