We are seeking a skilled Audit and Accounts Senior to join our expanding team at TPF Recruitment based in Croydon on a full-time basis.

Our services include year-end accounts, tax compliance & advisory, management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT, and payroll services. You will have the chance to participate in various areas of accounting and take on as much responsibility as you feel comfortable with. Our close-knit team offers a relaxed work environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to Managers and Partners, the role will primarily focus on audit and accounts activities.
  • You will support a diverse portfolio of clients from owner-managed to not-for-profit organisations.
  • Liaise with the team and client when necessary, lead audits from planning through to completion.
  • Provide accountancy and taxation advice and support to clients when required.
  • Host and conduct pre-audit and post-audit meetings with clients.
  • Assist in managing a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants.
  • Mentor colleagues by reviewing their work and encouraging prompt and high-quality delivery and service.
  • Develop and expand the team's skillset through development plans and training and support.
  • Contribute to the firm's growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients.

Requirements:

  • You should be qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience with relevant experience.
  • You will have a background in an accountancy practice, with at least 1-3 years or more experience preparing accounts, conducting audits, tax, and other responsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • You will be looking for a challenging, long-term career move, at Senior level, within a genuinely growing and expanding firm of certified chartered accountants, offering progression and career development.
