Hourly Rate: £14.89 depending on experience

Job Type: Temporary on-going

Gi Group Recruitment is seeking a qualified Lecturer in Maths to join our client based in Worksop. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students and adults.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and deliver engaging lesson plans for A Level, GCSE Maths, and Functional Skills Literacy courses.
  2. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure excellent teaching and learning outcomes.
  3. Collaborate with the Pastoral and Progression Coach and course team to promote work experience opportunities and support student progression.
  4. Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
  5. Prepare and submit relevant reports and assessments to accrediting bodies, ensuring compliance with internal quality assessment and moderation duties.
Requirements:
  1. Experience of teaching GCSE Maths to students 16+
  2. Appropriate level teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
  3. Ability to deliver flexible and innovative teaching methods to cater to diverse student needs.
  4. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with curriculum changes.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and clients.
