Senior Infrastructure / Systems Engineer - Leeds

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure / Systems Engineer to join our team in Leeds. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure to ensure maximum system uptime and optimal performance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Assisting with key business projects from conception to delivery.
  2. Resolving 3rd line support issues for key business systems.
  3. Proactively managing the IT infrastructure to ensure maximum system uptime.
  4. Developing and maintaining IT procedural/process documentation in line with PCI DSS and ITIL requirements.
  5. Maintaining a viable IT Business continuity and disaster recovery infrastructure as per business requirements.
  6. Mentoring junior support staff and assisting where necessary.
  7. Assisting in system capacity planning.
  8. Constantly reviewing the current IT infrastructure and proposing improvements.
  9. Installation, configuration, and maintenance of key IT systems including Microsoft servers, switches, SANS, Vmware, telephony systems, and firewalls.
  10. Building and maintaining a secure network.

You will need to have a broad spectrum of technological and business project management experience, as well as strong communication skills and the ability to operate independently and take accountability for the delivery of major initiatives.
