We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. As a key member of our echocardiography department, you will be responsible for performing and interpreting cardiac ultrasound examinations, providing expert advice to medical and physiologist staff, and contributing to the development of our clinical services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and interpret cardiac ultrasound examinations, including echocardiograms and stress echocardiography
- Provide expert advice to medical and physiologist staff on cardiac physiology and echocardiography
- Contribute to the development of our clinical services, including the design and implementation of new protocols and procedures
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge
- Completion of MSc Scientist Training Programme (STP) or equivalent
- Relevant Masters Degree or equivalent - Certified Echocardiographer, holding current British Society of Echocardiography accreditation
- Registered with RCCP
- ILS
- ALS (desirable)
You will be working in a fast-paced environment, frequently required to perform tests on patients who are infectious, have distressing conditions or body odours. You will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
