We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our Transportation team at Kier Group, working on the A417 project in Gloucester.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a challenging project, ensuring the construction process is carried out accurately, quality is maintained, and records are kept.

As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Setting out works within allowable tolerances and regularly checking setting out points, benchmarks, and measuring equipment.
  • Assisting in managing systems to record the quality of work completed, testing workmanship and materials.
  • Providing engineering support to ensure technical problems are overcome and technical queries are answered.
  • Overseeing Health & Safety targets on the scheme.
  • Supporting your Manager with their duties.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge and experience of setting out and surveying.
  • A positive attitude, demonstrating initiative and able to plan workload and prioritise.
  • Awareness of Health & Safety and a relevant CSCS card.

We offer a competitive salary, up to £39,000, plus a £5k annual car allowance and benefits.
