We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Council Tax Reduction/Housing Benefit Business Consultant to join our established team. The successful candidate will bring their expertise in Council Tax Reduction and Housing Benefit to extend the capabilities of our team and will be keen to share and extend their own knowledge within the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expertise and extensive up-to-date knowledge in the following business area: Benefits (CTR/CTS and Housing Benefits)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to problem solve in demanding circumstances.
  • Ability to work on your own or part of a team and on multiple projects in parallel.
  • UK Driving license and willing to work away from home as required.
Desirable Skills
  • Integration / Interfaces (with NEC R&B products)
  • Experience of working with customers and / or external agencies.
  • Experience of delivering training and / or seminars.
  • Experience of Processing within NEC
  • Recent Experience of System Administration processes within NEC

Requirements
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK. Documentary evidence will be required.
  • All offers are subject to satisfactory vetting, references and occupational health checks.
  • Depending on the nature of the role a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check may also be required.
