Events Management Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Events Manager to join our specialist Events Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality events that showcase the London Business School brand and engage our audiences. This includes managing the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of high-profile events, such as speaker series, international events, conferences, and graduation ceremonies.

As an experienced Events Manager, you will have expertise in event project management, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with colleagues across the School to ensure seamless event delivery and exceed expectations.

This role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders. You will also be expected to analyse and evaluate the ROI and impact of events, making recommendations for future improvements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of the delivery of a portfolio of events or elements of more complex events.
  • Partner with Events Executive and Assistant on projects, overseeing their work and coaching them to develop their skills.
  • Design or procure complex brand content/materials for events and other initiatives.
  • Collaborate with contractors and agencies to support event delivery.
  • Provide expert advice on event organisation to colleagues, faculty, staff, and students.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience as an Events Manager is essential.
  • Experience of planning and delivering high-quality, complex events for multiple audiences.
  • Experience of managing large event budgets.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to engage various audiences.
  • Experience of working with contractors and agencies.
