Job Description

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as an Academic Engagement Manager. This exciting opportunity will involve working closely with patients, researchers, and external partners to deliver patient and public involvement and engagement (PPIE) activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver PPIE resources, activities, and networks to support the co-production of research.
  • Build relationships across communities, organisations, and our partnership to connect people and support their involvement in research.
  • Support a culture of open, inclusive involvement across all our work and that of our partners.
  • Help build skills and know-how through delivering training, learning resources, and support.
Requirements
  • Strong skills and awareness in inclusive engagement of diverse groups.
  • Great people skills to grow relationships across our communities, departments, and different organisations.
  • Initiative, a commitment to co-production, and demonstrable ability in delivering engagement activities.
