Dialysis Nurse

DaVita Inc. is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Augusta, GA. As an Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nephrology care through Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), and Apheresis.
• Deliver dialysis to patients at a contracted healthcare system, working collaboratively with the hospital team.
• Support patients with multiple co-morbidities, requiring unique treatment plans and a broad range of nursing skills.
• Oversee a group of patients with the support of PCTs, conducting patient observations, measuring stats, and machine setup.
• Work daily in a hospital setting, providing lifesaving care during regularly scheduled and on-call shifts.

Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing or diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
• Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) experience.
• Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification preferred.
