- Effectively control commercial, managerial, and technical aspects of the project or the part of the project you are responsible for.
- Prepare building specifications and manage production information for the construction stage.
- Attend site meetings during the construction phase to ensure construction meets requirements.
- Provide structural surveys and reports and carry out Project Management roles as required.
- Subcontractor management and client engagement.
- Reading, interpreting, and providing clear communication of construction drawings on site for layouts, material measurements, etc.
- Liaise with the client's site team to communicate all project requirements.
- Technical responsibility relating to projects on site including (but not limited to) reading and interpretation of all construction drawings.
- Developing effective relationships and dealing with clients and subcontractors.
- Working closely with all other team members to ensure that the Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety aspects of the work are adhered to during your project phase on site.
- Fully conversant in the use of software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, InfoDrainage or their equivalents.
- Hands-on approach, with a desire to remain engaged in design, project management, and delivery.
