We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Test Automation Engineer to join our expanding Software Team, working within the automated test team. This exciting role will give you the opportunity to provide automated software testing expertise to ensure delivery of robust, high-quality, compliant software for the continued development of mobile medical device software applications in a mobile-centric world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and participate in ensuring requirements are clear, unambiguous, and testable
  • Perform requirements analysis of user/software requirements and user stories
  • Write, run, and debug automated tests using our framework
  • Apply best-practice testing strategies and techniques
  • Troubleshoot failing tests, identify the cause, and report or fix the issue
  • Investigate and characterize App or system failures to support the Development team
  • Efficiently track work packages and issues, using a project management tool, such as Jira
  • Lead and participate in planning events and technical reviews of test coverage, test procedures, issues, and executed tests
Requirements
  • Extensive experience of coding in Ruby
  • Experience of at least one programming/scripting language in addition to Ruby
  • Experience and understanding of working within a regulated environment
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal support from others
  • Degree in Software Development with at least three years commercial experience working within an automated test environment
  • ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level qualification desirable
