Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated Scientific Personal Assistant (Research Administrator) to join our expanding research team. As a key member, you will provide comprehensive personal and laboratory administration support while working closely with the Junior Group Leader and other team members.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a personal assistant, providing administrative support to the lab
  • Routine liaison with internal and external contacts, including University staff, scientific collaborators, and invited speakers
  • Coordinate tasks with the rest of the lab, Institute, and beyond
Requirements

The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and collaboratively. You will benefit from the support of experienced administrators in the Institute and have opportunities for professional development.

Benefits

The University of Cambridge offers a competitive salary, estimated around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our institute links the laboratory to the clinic, carrying out cancer research of direct relevance to patients. Our mission is to improve patient outcomes.
