Teacher of Law Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Teacher of Law to join our team at a Secondary school in Northampton.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Law to students in Years 7 to 13, planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to curriculum planning with the Law team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Teach Law to students in Years 7 to 13, promoting academic excellence and ensuring all learners reach their full potential.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons, incorporating a range of teaching methods and resources.
  • Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adjusting teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning with the Law team, ensuring that the curriculum is up-to-date and meets the needs of students.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student well-being and engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in Law and education, sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
