Hospitality Assistant

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitality Assistant to join our prestigious hospitality establishment in Rye. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional front of house service, including reception, meeting and greeting guests, and delivering a high-quality bar service.

Key Responsibilities

• Answering phones and responding to inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
• Taking bookings on the phone and via computer, with a focus on upselling to maximize sales
• Handling customer complaints in a calm and professional manner, escalating issues to management as needed
• Providing exceptional service to customers, including assisting with luggage and arranging room service

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience working in a hotel reception and food and beverage environment, particularly in a bar service capacity. You will also need to be able to work a variety of shifts, including early and late cover, and be flexible with your working hours.
