Estate Agency and Real Estate Sector Leader

We are working with a forward-thinking industry leader in the estate agency and real estate sector to find an experienced Senior Programme Manager. With over 60 acquisitions completed in the last three years, this private equity-backed business is revolutionising the UK property market.

**The Position**

This senior-level role requires a skilled Programme Manager to support the M&A Director and team, leading a talented team of two Project Managers to deliver and integrate corporate acquisitions efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving acquisition and integration success across diverse functions.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Team Leadership: Direct and mentor a Programme Management team of two Project Managers.
  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop and implement thorough project plans for acquisitions, prioritising tasks, owners, and deadlines.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster close relationships with M&A, HR, Operations, Finance, IT, Governance, and Regional teams to drive acquisition and integration success.
  • Project Governance: Chair internal and vendor project meetings, manage risk registers, and oversee critical documents such as integration plans and contracts.
  • Data Management: Oversee the control of data rooms, ensuring all documents are carefully reviewed, allocated, and tracked.
  • Completion Oversight: Ensure all acquisition activities are properly closed before completion and facilitate clear handovers for post-acquisition tasks.

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience in programme/project management, preferably in M&A or corporate acquisitions.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
  • Background in estate agency, real estate, or private equity-backed businesses is highly valued.
