Strategic HR Manager

Job Summary
We seek a seasoned HR professional to fill a 1-year maternity contract. The successful candidate will oversee the HR & Office Management function and support the company in maintaining a high-performing culture and workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide trusted guidance on employment-related matters, including policies, procedures, ER cases, restructuring, recruitment, and employee engagement.
- Contribute to the development of good HR practice and procedures to drive performance and engagement by actively participating within the function and networking with colleagues.
- Lead the implementation of specific projects, procedures, and guidelines to align the workforce with the company's strategic goals and ensure policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with new employment law.
- Manage a range of HR projects, including appraisals, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, wellbeing programs, retention, engagement, compensation and benefits, and employer branding.
- Oversee the HR, Facilities, and Front of House team and department budgets.
- Recruit high-quality talent using cost-efficient methods.
- Support HR functions in the Quintessentially global Hub Offices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- CIPD Level 5+ qualification or equivalent.
- Demonstrable understanding of good practice and employment law.
- Familiarity with influencing, mediating, and conflict resolution.
- Excellent interpersonal relationship-building and management skills.
- Able to serve as a knowledgeable HR resource.
- 'Can-do' attitude and ability to adapt to new processes in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to prioritize, delegate, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Good IT skills.
- Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure and manage conflicts effectively.
- Mature approach, dedicated, and committed with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sensitivity.
