Senior Paraplanner Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Paraplanner to join our successful and growing team at Search. As a key member of our wealth management team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our advisers and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth financial research and analysis using industry-leading tools such as Selectapension and FE Analytics.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports using Genovo report writing software, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Review and verify information provided by admin staff, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Liaise with the admin team to gather missing information and assist with business submissions as needed.
  • Utilize Intelliflo back office system for client management and record-keeping, maintaining confidentiality and data security.
  • Analyze and provide recommendations for various investment vehicles, including ISAs and general investment accounts, ensuring suitability and compliance.
  • Challenge advisers on file notes or recommendation proposals that appear unsuitable, upholding our commitment to excellence.
  • Communicate with the compliance team regarding any concerns about advice suitability, ensuring seamless collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record as a paraplanner in the financial services industry, with a focus on pensions and retirement planning.
  • Extensive knowledge of UK pension regulations and products, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Proficiency in using Intelliflo, Selectapension, FE Analytics, and Genovo software, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a focus on client-centric service.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements in financial services, ensuring our team's integrity and reputation.
