Job Description:

A talented Production Technician is required by Michael Page (UK) to join their leading Medtech company. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for career growth and development.

In this position, you will be responsible for attending to electro-mechanical faults, diagnosing and repairing in a timely manner to meet production targets. You will also conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and refurbish offline machinery and ancillaries. Additionally, you will maintain manufacturing equipment to produce products according to established Quality Control specifications and standards.

You will ensure compliance with statutory legislation and quality system requirements. Your responsibilities will include supervising in-process quality and addressing issues to prevent product holds. Furthermore, you will operate equipment and processes in compliance with Quality Control, Health & Safety and Environmental legislation.

As a successful Production Technician, you will work with Operational, Engineering and Quality Control personnel to promote continuous improvement. You will install and validate new equipment and technology, participate in team meetings and project teams, and enter data onto SAP and perform operational duties.

This role requires a Qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering or a time served apprenticeship. You should have experience in a high volume, highly automated manufacturing environment. A methodical approach, organised and self-motivated individual with a safety awareness of electrical, compressed air and pressurised systems is required.
