About the Role

The Wakapi Web team is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our ranks. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications using Java and Angular.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software applications using Java, with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
  • Implement solutions to challenges encountered during development, leveraging your expertise in Java and Angular.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, implementation, integration, testing, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and implement new enhancements while fixing bugs.
  • Develop flexible software designs to accommodate change requests efficiently.
  • Write and maintain high-quality documentation, including user guides and technical documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Java web development.
  • Strong experience with Java Spring Boot framework and Java programming language.
  • Experience with Angular and microservice architecture.
  • Good understanding of Postgres SQL or MySQL.
  • Experience with AWS is a plus.
  • Multitasking skills and excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Experience in Agile software development process.
