Job Title: Health and Safety Advisor

Join our team as a Health and Safety Advisor, working with a specialist utility and infrastructure support services company. As a key member of our operational team, you will be responsible for conducting audits and inspections, assisting in accident and incident investigations, reviewing and developing RAMS, and helping to develop and maintain procedures.

About the Role:
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Assist in investigating accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
  • Review and develop RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statements) to ensure safe working practices
  • Collaborate with site teams to drive engagement, standards, and ownership of health and safety
  • Support the development and maintenance of procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH General qualification as a minimum
  • NEBOSH Construction and/or NVQ/Diploma level qualifications preferred
  • Experience working within a contractor environment, with utilities, civils, and construction projects experience considered
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with site teams
