Job Title: HGV1 Container Driver

We are seeking a skilled HGV1 driver to join our team in Portsmouth. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for driving HGV1 articulated container automatic gearshift lorries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive HGV1 lorries safely and efficiently
  • Keep accurate records of deliveries and collections
  • Use electronic devices to complete tasks
  • Adhere to DP World London Gateway procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of break times
Requirements:
  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card)
  • Valid Digital Tachograph card
  • No more than 6 points on the licence
  • At least 1 year of experience driving HGV1 containers
  • Good English language skills
  • Good knowledge of UK motorway road network and WTD regulations
