Fundraising Events Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Fundraising Events Coordinator to join our Community & Events Team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service to participants taking on fundraising events for Diabetes UK.
The Fundraising Events Coordinator will work closely with the Fundraising Events Managers to deliver incredible experiences for our event participants. This includes providing professional, timely, and engaging support through various channels, enhancing supporter stewardship, and maximising income generation.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be quick to learn, highly organised, and a proactive problem solver. They will have worked in a customer service-focused administrative role, preferably in the charity sector, and have strong abilities in managing competing deadlines and organising their time effectively to prioritise workload.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to participants taking on fundraising events for Diabetes UK.
- Work closely with the Fundraising Events Managers to deliver incredible experiences for our event participants.
- Provide professional, timely, and engaging support through various channels, enhancing supporter stewardship, and maximising income generation.
- Build and manage relationships with existing and new supporters.
- Support the Event Manager with the development and delivery of events from setting up registration forms to post-event thanking.
- Work collaboratively across the organisation to deliver events that help us achieve our mission.
