We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wastewater Modeller to join our team. As a Principal or Associate Engineer, you will play a key role in managing project delivery, supervising tasks, and reviewing deliverables.
About the RoleAs a Wastewater Modeller, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our urban drainage modelling capability, ensuring we stay at the forefront of the latest developments in the discipline. You will also provide training and development support to junior team members, and work closely with the team lead to manage the work of the local technical delivery team.
You will provide technical input on urban drainage projects, support our wastewater team in delivering current and future projects, and help influence our approaches to efficient delivery. This role will enable you to further develop and apply your technical skills, driving forward both technical quality and service efficiency.
Your TeamYou will work as part of a dynamic and award-winning water team, supported by our Global Water Team and network of 350 professionals across the UK. We are currently working on an expanding portfolio of projects with clients including Severn Trent, Scottish Water Horizons, Welsh Water, and Southern Water.
The opportunity to progress is a real possibility, combining your technical and industry knowledge with the right behaviours to encourage and develop others. You will have a good working knowledge of Water Industry Specifications, Code of Practice for the Hydraulic Modelling of Urban Drainage Systems, and relevant British Standards.
