Job Title: Assistant Cardiac Practitioner

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Cardiology team as an Assistant Cardiac Practitioner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform ECGs to SCST standards and demonstrate sound basic ECG interpretation skills.
  • Experience running an outpatient clinic is essential.
  • Manage and deliver clinical and patient care supporting the ambulatory monitoring service within Cardiac Rhythm Management.
  • Participate in a flexible working hours system.
  • Actively participate in a range of clinical physiology service provision.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and supportive Cardiology team at West Herts. As an Assistant Cardiac Practitioner, you will be primarily based at Hemel Hempstead Hospital with rotation at the St Albans and Watford sites as service demand dictates.

Person Specification:

  • Previous NHS experience.
  • Basic 12-lead ECG interpretation.
  • Educated to A-level/NVQ level 3.
  • Experience running clinics independently.
