Empowerment and Support Specialist

The estimated salary for this position is £42,500 - £52,000 per annum, based on industry standards.

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Empowerment and Support Specialist to join our team at n-compass. As an advocate, you will work closely with individuals to ensure their wishes, views, and rights are respected by professionals.

About the Role
  • Provide advocacy support to clients, requiring excellent communication skills
  • Participate in a thorough induction training program
  • Demonstrate sound listening skills, verbal and written communication skills, drive to manage complex workloads, good IT skills, and ability to collect and record data accurately
Key Responsibilities
  • Support a caseload of clients to understand their rights, express their views and wishes, and ensure their voice is heard
  • Collaborate with professionals and families/carers
  • Record data accurately and in a timely manner
  • Manage safeguarding situations in line with policy
Requirements
  • Successful applicants must undergo an Enhanced DBS check
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment
