Job Title: Complex Healthcare Assistant
Location: Basingstoke
Estimated Salary: £15.50 per hour
This role requires a dedicated and compassionate individual to support a 9-year-old client with complex healthcare needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the client with personal care, medication administration, and enteral feeding.
In addition, they will provide emotional support and social interaction to enhance the client's quality of life.
The ideal candidate will have experience in manual handling, suctioning, and non-verbal communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Administer medication as prescribed by medical professionals
- Provide enteral feeding through a PEG/JEG device
- Support the client with mobility and transferring
- Engage in social interaction and play activities to promote emotional well-being
