About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented physicist to help train generative artificial intelligence models. This is a remote freelance opportunity with flexible hours, allowing you to work at your own pace.

As a physics expert freelancer, you will contribute by:

  • Evaluating and ranking domain-specific responses generated by AI models.
  • Crafting and answering questions related to physics.
  • Assessing the factuality and relevance of domain-specific text produced by AI models.

Requirements include:

  • A bachelor's or higher degree in physics or a related subject.
  • Experience working as a physics professional.
  • Ability to write clearly about concepts related to physics in fluent English.

Estimated salary: $60-$120 per hour, depending on expertise and project need. Certain projects offer incentive payments.

Benefits

This is a 1099 contract opportunity on the Outlier.ai platform. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to choose your own schedule and work on a variety of projects. However, please note that we do not offer internships, sponsorship, or employment.

Payment terms will be outlined in each project agreement. You must be authorized to work in your country of residence and may need to contact your tax and/or immigration advisor regarding specific circumstances.
