Job Title: Anaesthetics / ODP

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Theatre Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team at the NHS hospital in Plymouth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety in the operating department.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support in the operating department.
  • Work collaboratively with the theatre team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of theatre policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Part 1 registered NMC Nurse or HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner.
  • Experience of working in a theatre environment, preferably in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Sound knowledge of Health and Safety/Risk Management within the operating department.
Person Specification:
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks.
