The ideal candidate will have significant senior-level portfolio management or trading experience in an equity index environment, with extensive managerial experience and a track record of inspirational leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of portfolio managers/traders, overseeing day-to-day management of equity index portfolios for Vanguard's European domiciled accounts.
  • Develop and implement strategic approaches to drive business growth, leveraging deep technical expertise in trading/portfolio management.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and contribute to the team's success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

  • CFA certification strongly preferred.
  • Significant senior-level experience in portfolio management or trading, preferably in an equity index environment.
