About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Counsellor to join our team as a Counsellor on Placement. As a Counsellor on Placement, you will provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in our partner schools.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one counselling to up to 3 children per day, for a minimum of one day per week.
- Attend regular supervision sessions to ensure high-quality support for children.
- Participate in tailored training workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of a safe and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
- Be a fully qualified Counsellor, Therapist, or Clinical Psychologist, or studying towards one of these professions.
- Have a Diploma in Counselling (Level 4 or above), or a Degree, MSc, or MA in Counselling, Counselling Psychology, or Psychotherapy.
- Have relevant experience of direct work with children, or be willing to learn and develop your skills.
