The Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced Property Portfolio Manager to join our team in Southend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Management: The successful candidate will be responsible for independently managing a portfolio of properties, overseeing the tenancy life cycle from start to finish.
  • Tenant Relations: They will act as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Landlord Communication: Regular updates will be provided to landlords regarding their properties, including rental payments, property condition, and tenancy renewals.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and adhering to current legislation and company policies, the Property Portfolio Manager will conduct routine inspections, process renewals, and oversee end-of-tenancy procedures.
  • Problem Solving: Resolving issues promptly and professionally, the successful candidate will ensure tenant and landlord satisfaction while protecting the company's interests.
  • Rent Collection: Monitoring rent payments and arrears, taking necessary action to address late payments.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in tenancy management, ideally within a letting agency.
  • Strong knowledge of property management software and tenancy legislation.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
