About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Rigging and Automation Technician to join our Digital, Production & Venue Support (DPVS) team at GUILDHALL SCHOOL OF MUSIC AND DRAMA. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of rigging systems, both counterweight and automated.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable expertise in rigging and flying systems, with experience in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting counterweight and automated rigging systems. Knowledge of health and safety protocols relevant to technical production, including LOLER and PUWER compliance, is also essential.

This role offers a competitive salary of £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities to work across various technical disciplines and support student development.
