Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and forward-thinking Senior Residential Architect to join our team. As a Senior Residential Architect with ECE, you would have the opportunity to take a pivotal role in leading the design and delivery of a wide range of residential projects through all RIBA stages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of residential projects from inception to completion
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Prepare initial feasibility site layouts, detailed masterplans, and planning application packages
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and develop business opportunities
  • Work autonomously to provide clients with a quick turnaround on feasibility work
  • Ensure that projects are suitably resourced and that abortive work is minimised
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of the company's design and business strategy

Requirements

  • Experience in running large residential projects from inception to achieving planning consent
  • Understanding of residential layout design regarding housing-led schemes
  • Ability to effectively lead a project team under timescale pressures
  • Ability to prepare fee quotes and approach clients for work-winning opportunities
  • Experience in collaborating with clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Knowledge of planning and Building Regulation requirements
