About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infringements Executive to join our team at News UK. As a key member of our Content Licensing team, you will play a critical role in preventing revenue loss due to infringements and developing strategies to recover revenue from infringers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and prevent infringements of News UK's intellectual property and trademarks.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive protocol for detecting and addressing copyright infringements.
  • Work closely with our legal team to compile information on infringements and build evidence for consideration of next steps.
  • Audit syndicated News UK content to ensure parties are using it pursuant to their licensing agreement.
  • Collaborate with other relevant parties to brainstorm potential areas of licensing growth.
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of copyright and other types of infringement.
  • Good working knowledge of the law in this area.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop strategies that align with the overall licensing strategy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
