We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate HIV Support Specialist to provide emotional and social support, advocacy, and HIV education to children, young people and young adults living with HIV.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and family-based emotional and social support to children, young people and young adults living with HIV.
- Work closely with paediatric, adolescent, and adult HIV clinic teams across the London region.
- Develop and deliver HIV education programs to promote healthy living and well-being.
- Advocate for the rights and needs of children, young people and young adults living with HIV.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of HIV and its impact on children, young people and young adults.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of child and adolescent development principles.
