About the Role

We are seeking a talented Apprentice Building/Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the financial and contractual management of multiple projects, primarily within social housing planned and responsive contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial input from tender stage to project completion, supporting Assistant Quantity Surveyors as required.
  • Maximise project value, ensuring income and cash flow targets are met, while identifying ways to increase margin.
  • Prepare and present commercial agreements with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Produce cost reports and analyse subcontractor applications.
  • Ensure contracts comply with company and client expectations, managing contractual risk.
  • Ensure financial and quality compliance on subcontractor orders and provide input on monthly reporting and CVR processes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in social housing projects, including both planned and responsive contracts.
  • A relevant Quantity Surveying qualification.
  • Confident IT skills and the ability to work flexibly, including travel.
  • A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
