Job Title: Secondary Teacher - Daily Supply

At GSL Education, we are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Daily Supply Teacher to join our team in Newcastle Upon Tyne. As a Daily Supply Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and effective lessons across various subjects, providing continuity in the absence of regular teachers and ensuring students receive quality education every day.

The Role

As a Daily Supply Teacher, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality lessons across a range of subjects, maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Adapting quickly to different school settings, teaching methods, and student needs.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a conducive learning environment.
  • Following lesson plans provided by regular teachers or creating engaging lessons when necessary.
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Building positive relationships with students and staff, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Certification.
  • Experience in teaching at the secondary school level.
  • Strong subject knowledge across a range of subjects.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
  • Commitment to student success and continuous professional development.
