We are seeking a talented Neonatal Healthcare Professional to join our team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with clinicians, therapists, and other professionals to provide high-quality input to children and families on our neonatal units.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a complex clinical caseload, coordinating service development, and delivering medical education and training programs. You will also work closely with the Neonatal MDT, patients, families, and relevant Health and Social Care teams ensuring compliance against clinical drivers and standards.

The ideal candidate will have a recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree accredited by RCSLT, Health Professions Council license to practice as a Speech and Language Therapist, and Registered Member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a rehabilitation care pathway focussing on education, enablement, and empowerment of service users and their carers.
  • Manage local and regional complex caseloads.
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver medical education and training programs for health/social staff, patients, care providers, regional SLTs, and students.
Requirements
  • Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree accredited by RCSLT.
  • Health Professions Council license to practice as a Speech and Language Therapist.
  • Registered Member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
