Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation: Install wood stoves, fireplaces, and related equipment in residential properties.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all installations comply with relevant safety standards and building regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including explaining the installation process and answering any questions.
  • Site Assessment: Conduct site assessments to determine the best installation approach.
  • Documentation: Complete all necessary documentation, including installation reports and safety certificates.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and subcontractors to ensure smooth and efficient installations.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience working as a Heating Maintenance Engineer/Domestic Gas Engineer/Plumber or in a similar role within a domestic setting.
  • Certification required: Full Driving License & Level 2 or 3 Plumbing
  • Technical Skills: Technical skills and knowledge of plumbing installations.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various environments.
