Career Development Research Fellowship at SOAS, University of London

SOAS, University of London invites applications for a Career Development Research Fellowship in anthropology and mental health research. As a key member of CAMHRA core academic staff, you will have the opportunity to develop innovative and collaborative research that advances our research agenda and engagement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting individual and collaborative research projects, producing high-impact academic and knowledge exchange outputs, supporting education, teaching, and training, and convening workshops, events, and conferences.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career researcher to lead their own research programme and seek external grant funding for their project under the supervision of experienced CAMHRA core academic staff.

Key Requirements:

  • Existing anthropological training at doctoral and/or postdoctoral level
  • Eligibility to work in the UK or have limited leave to remain in the UK and associated right to work for the duration of employment

We particularly welcome applications from candidates from working-class, first-generation Higher Education, Black, Asian, other minority ethnic, and underrepresented groups from within the UK and beyond.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
