The Role

We are seeking an Electrical Supervisor to oversee and manage electrical projects and maintenance activities, leading a team of electricians, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating with other departments to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of electricians, providing guidance for successful project execution
  • Oversee electrical projects, ensuring completion within budget and timeline constraints, and coordinate with stakeholders
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss updates, safety measures, and address concerns
  • Conduct safety training, inspect work sites for hazards, and investigate/report accidents promptly
  • Supervise small to medium-sized contracts, manage day work jobs, arrange labor and materials, and handle basic estimating and tendering duties

Requirements

It is essential for the successful candidate to have the following:

  • Experience working within the manufacturing and industrial sector
  • Level 3 Diploma in electrical engineering or similar field
  • Proven experience as an electrician or electrical supervisor
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and components
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
