Job Opportunity: Outreach Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as an Outreach Tutor. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the educational journey of SEN/SEMH students.

About the Role:

As an Outreach Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions in various subjects, focusing on the individual needs of each student. You will develop personalised learning plans to help students overcome educational barriers and achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality tutoring sessions, utilising innovative teaching methods and resources to engage and inspire students.
  • Develop and implement effective learning plans, monitoring and assessing student progress, and providing regular feedback.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment, building strong relationships with students and their families.
  • Collaborate with schools, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each student's education.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs and backgrounds.
  • Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths, Science, or other core subjects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability and creativity in your teaching methods.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
