About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Treasury Finance team at Nationwide Building Society. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in leading aspects of our financial and regulatory reporting, implementing improvements, and supporting projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation and review of key aspects of our monthly reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to understand the commercial drivers behind the numbers.
  • Develop and improve the way we do things, including ongoing continuous improvement activity and supporting key projects.
  • Build relationships across the team and represent Treasury Finance where needed.
  • Support junior colleagues with their career development.
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or qualified by experience.
  • Experience of working within a treasury or financial reporting environment in industry (Financial Services advantageous).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Advanced IT skills, including Excel and financial reporting or treasury systems.
  • Advanced analysis skills.
