Job SummaryThis is a key role within our organization, responsible for procuring goods and services to support our operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in procurement, with experience of managing complex contracts and relationships with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to achieve cost savings and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Manage a portfolio of contracts, including process and utility equipment, trade subcontracts, and professional services.
- Identify and qualify potential suppliers, negotiate prices, and manage the contract negotiation process.
- Ensure compliance with IPS's policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry regulations.
- Prior experience in a procurement role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Knowledge and experience of trade contracts and equipment procurement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting deadlines and priorities.
- MCIPS qualified, Engineering, or related supply chain experience.
- Supply Chain-related experience.
